Scribe Software Adds New Microsoft Dynamics AX Connector to iPaaS Marketplace
Scribe Online Connector Provides Greater Access to Information in the Cloud-based ERP System With New Front-Office to Back-Office Integration Capabilities
MANCHESTER, NH – June 7, 2016 – Scribe Software, a global data integration leader, today announced the availability of a new Connector for Microsoft Dynamics AX for Scribe Online, the company’s agile integration platform as a service (iPaaS). The new connector eliminates the need for significant software coding, allowing business analysts, consultants, software developers, and IT professionals to quickly customize and automate the flow of business data between Microsoft Dynamics AX, one of Microsoft’s ERP solutions, and other key business systems, such as customer relationship management (CRM) systems, sales and marketing applications, data quality services and data warehouses. Integrations created with Scribe Online are used to eliminate manual processes and provide sales, marketing, service, finance, and other staff members with real-time information they need to reduce costs, increase revenue and improve customer service.
The Scribe Online Connector for Microsoft Dynamics AX takes advantage of Microsoft’s Open Data Protocol (OData) to expose all standard and custom fields and entities from Dynamics AX, including critical business information on orders, credit checks, and invoices. With this information readily available, integration designers can take advantage of Scribe Online’s graphical solution development environment to shorten the time to develop an integration that provides real-time synchronization and workflows between Microsoft Dynamics AX and other cloud services or on-premises systems. The connector is free to download from the Scribe Online marketplace along with connectors for dozens of other popular business systems, such as Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics CRM, SAP, and NetSuite.
“The critical financial and customer data held in ERP systems, especially in cloud-based ERP systems such as the new Microsoft Dynamics AX, is often out of reach to the sales and service teams that need it to effectively do their jobs,” said Bob Zurek, CTO of connectivity at Scribe. “With the potent combination of our cloud-based iPaaS and new AX connector, we ensure that organizations can reap the flexibility advantages of cloud-based systems and still empower employees with instant access to the financial and customer data they require.”
With the connector, Scribe Online customers and partners can:
- Provide sales teams with real-time access to order and invoice information by synchronizing order and invoice data from Microsoft Dynamics AX with a CRM system
- Allow sales members to enter order data in front-end systems and seamlessly integrate the data with the sales modules of AX.
- Migrate data from another ERP system to Dynamics AX.
- Replicate data from AX to a data warehouse or SQL database for analytics.
