With more than 15 years of technology marketing experience, John is responsible for developing Scribe Software’s marketing strategy and managing the worldwide marketing organization. Prior to joining Scribe Software, John was VP of Product Marketing at Lavastorm Analytics, where he built and managed the company’s global marketing organization, guided the company’s launch into the BI/analytics software market and helped the company expand into new industries. Prior to joining Lavastorm Analytics, John held senior marketing roles at a number of software companies offering breakthrough platforms related to data integration and analytics, including Endeca (acquired by Oracle), InterSystems, Envox Worldwide (acquired by Syntellect), and Engage. John earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Southern California, and a Master of Business Administration degree from MIT’s Sloan School of Management.
