Knowing what is being released empowers you and your team!
Sometimes you might need to modify a Map in Scribe Online to leverage new functionality and improve performance. Other times, a third-party API may have deprecated entities or fields and you need to plan for those changes.
Scribe strives to provide information to our customers in a timely fashion. Through the Scribe Success Community, you have the option to “Follow” Discussions within a specific topic, such as Scribe Online or Connectors and Adapters. When you choose to “Follow” a topic, you can view new Discussions tagged with that topic on your My Feed page, and optionally receive an email notification with the contents of new Discussions.
We all get too much email, but knowing about new releases is important. To that end, Scribe has created a very targeted set of topics, used only for release announcements, to limit the number of emails you might receive.
For example, we have a release for the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 scheduled for early May 2017. We posted a release announcement tagged with the topic Microsoft Dynamics 365 Connector Release that contains a link to the complete Release Notes for the Connector.
Anyone using the Connector for Microsoft Dynamics 365 who is Following that topic will receive an email and can review the Release Notes.
