I posted a new demo video to the Scribe YouTube channel, which you can watch below.
In this video, I cover some basics around the Request/Reply service. Discussions include some uses for this feature and how to create a working integration to move Account data into Microsoft Dynamics™ CRM OnPrem from an application that Scribe currently doesn’t have a Connector for in the marketingplace. I will cover the basics of what Request/Reply does, how the security model works around it, and some of the capabilities it offers in designing your integration.
Some of the major takeaways from this demo are that Scribe Online now has a true near-real-time integration option, which does not rely on polling a source system at all. We can also offer connectivity into some applications without the requirement of having a Connector, whether it be a fully branded application Connector or a technology Connector to get to the backend database. Any system that can issue a POST to a REST endpoint can now integrate using Scribe.
Now you can leverage Request/Reply in an integration to move and store data across systems, or to create a more composite integrations where data is not persisted in the system, simply displayed and presented to a user.
