The Scribe Adapter for Dynamics NAV maximizes integration points by supporting both C/Front for efficient data retrieval and the Navision Application Server (NAS) to ensure that data is integrated in to the system with Navision business logic enforced.
Key features include:
- Assignment of primary ID and default field values, validation of input data, automatic population of summary and join tables.
- Support for Customer, Items, Non-stock Items, Service Items, Orders, Invoices, Vendors, and Purchase Order business objects.
- Picklist viewer and picklist validation for Dynamics NAV drop-down lists. Set any picklist field by its internal value or its user friendly name.
- A query builder that can join objects, filter, and order when connecting to Dynamics NAV as a source.
- Support for "fuzzy" matching when looking for Account duplicates via the Scribe Company Match component, an optional Dynamics NAV customization.
The Scribe Template for Dynamics NAV and Dynamics CRM
Scribe provides the Dynamics NAV and Dynamics CRM Template as a highly functional starting point that can be used as-is and can also be extended and customized to meet each customer’s needs. The Scribe Integration Template is used with Scribe Insight, the Adapter for Dynamics CRM and the Adapter for Dynamics NAV, so customers can use the product to easily integrate with other in-house systems, import leads from their Web site in real-time, load marketing lists, integrate with order entry systems, and migrate data from previous customer systems.
The Dynamics NAV and Dynamics CRM Template offers migration and integration for:
- Customer, Address – This data can be created or modified in either Dynamics NAV or Dynamics CRM and the additions or changes will be synchronized with the other application. Scribe’s match component provides smart matching to avoid the creation of duplicate customers and to facilitate an initial synchronization of existing Dynamics NAV and CRM environments.
- Master Product Catalog – This data is mastered in Dynamics NAV and replicated to Dynamics CRM to support the order process needs in CRM.
- Orders – Orders are created in Dynamics CRM and may be modified in Dynamics CRM until that order is submitted to Dynamics NAV. As the order is updated in Dynamics NAV, the updated information is provided to Dynamics CRM.
- Invoices – Invoices are created in Dynamics NAV and replicated to Dynamics CRM. Posted invoices in Dynamics NAV are also included.
