Account Executive

Position Type: Full time
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will consist of a base salary and variable compensation.

Description:

This direct selling role is an inside sales position reporting to the Director of Sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new, upgrade, and add-on business into prospects and existing customers in a given sales territory. The general responsibilities include prospecting, call planning, execution, opportunity management and closing of sales opportunities against a given quota. These responsibilities include requirements gathering, needs analysis, solution proposal and demonstration—the overall management of the sales cycle. The position requires that you thrive in a busy atmosphere, prioritize your work, and be willing to spend the majority of your workday doing phone contact work.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • This position requires the majority of time to be spent on the phone soliciting end user prospects and customers to sell Scribe Integration platforms to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
  • Calling into Scribe Online and Scribe Insight ‘free trial’ users to convert them to contracted customers to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
  • Working with new and existing Salesforce partners to grow pipeline and assist with sales opportunities.
  • Understand the pricing, product structure, and value benefits of the Scribe software products and be able to effectively present these to prospects and customers.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate Scribe Online Data Replication and Integration Services capabilities.
  • Provide a weekly forecast of sales opportunities and meet weekly with Sales Management to review pipeline.
  • Daily interface with Sales Management, Marketing and Pre-Sales resources as you execute to plan.
  • Ability to use the Scribe CRM system (Salesforce) for daily management of opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks, achieving goals with minimal supervision and guidance— self-starter, motivated individual contributor.

Required Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will possess the business acumen required to understand and discuss the value proposition of customer data integration as well as the technical acumen required to understand and present the Scribe Online Platform.
  • Aggressive, self-starter, ability to work independently; have a ‘hunter’ and ‘closer’ mentality
  • Ability to engage with and negotiate with all levels of organization (C-Level, Director Level, Mgt. Level, User level)
  • 2 to 5 years direct selling experience, preferably with an online (cloud-based) software or services provider
  • Excellent personal, phone and presentation skills are required.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required.

Cloud Systems Manager

Position Type: Full time

Position Description

We are the leader in Customer data integration and we are seeing rapid growth of our Scribe Online Cloud platform.  We are seeking a Cloud Systems Manager to join our team.  The ideal candidate has experience in Cloud Computing / Administration, Windows Azure, Amazon EC2, Rackspace and monitoring tools such as Nagios.  This senior level role will help mature the Scribe Online platform and ensure the operation is running smoothly.  You’ll be part of a fun and fast-paced work environment.  For the right candidate we can offer a strong compensation package – depending on experience.

Responsibilities include:

  • Monitor and manage applications, databases, and web servers to proactively predict and prevent impending issues and maintain 24/7/365 Service Availability
  • Develop and produce high-level metrics for management reporting
  • Execute backup and maintenance procedures
  • Identify areas for automation and produce relevant scripts
  • SQL Server Database administration, analysis, and performance tuning

Required Skills:
Candidates must possess the following skills:

  • Web Server administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning (Windows Server, IIS)
  • Prior experience in managing 24/7/365 cloud applications

Director of Sales, US West Region

Position Type: Full time
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience
Location: Scribe Software, Manchester, NH (on-site)
Position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales

Responsibilities

  • Driving to achievement of the US/ROW West Region sales bookings quota of $TBD for 2015. US/ROW West Region is US from the states Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Arkansas, and Louisiana west, as well as western Canada and Australia, New Zealand, and the Far East.
  • Management and mentoring of a team of 6 region sales professionals across the following roles:
    • Enterprise Sales Manager
      • Sells (both direct and with partners) Scribe products and services into upper mid-market and enterprise market.
      • Prospects typically will have greater than 250 CRM users.
      • Primarily an outside sales role
    • Account Executive
      • Works with Scribe partners in support of their sales efforts.
      • Products quoting, configuration, and sales support for opportunities
      • Will also sell some direct business into their territory
      • An Inside Sales role
    • Channel Sales Manager
      • Responsible for the recruiting and onboarding of new Scribe resellers – goal for 2015 will be 60+ new partners in each region.
      • Responsible for recognizing those Scribe partners that are building industry solutions and works with the Scribe Platform team to sell wholesale or platform pricing models to those resellers.
      • Also responsible for ‘business building’ activity support with regional partners not on Top Tier Partner list (Top Tier Partners are the top 6 national partners that are managed separately by a Tier I Alliance Manager).
    • Customer Experience Account Executive
      • Manages all Scribe installed base accounts for Scribe Online (cloud) subscription renewals, as well as cross sell and up sell opportunities for both scribe Online and Scribe Insight
    • Maintenance Renewals Representative
      • Responsible for selling renewals to Scribe Insight annual maintenance, to maintain an 85%+ renewal rate.
    • Technical Pre-sales Engineer
      • Provides technical assistance for sales team and partners in the form of calls, demos, videos, show attendance, etc.

Position Requirements:

  • Software or cloud sales management experience of 5 years or more – particularly at the regional or national level.
  • Experience in the CRM/ERP, Data Quality, or Data Integration space preferred. Sales, channel sales, and sales management experience particularly in the Microsoft Dynamics or Salesforce space preferred.
  • Experienced, proven leader in managing a team to achieve/exceed a sales quota.
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Enterprise Consultant

Position Type: Full time

Position Description

The Enterprise Consultant is a hands-on position reporting to the Director of Services. The primary objective of this position is to provide expert guidance to the Enterprise Sales team, partners, and customers in the use of and implementation of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online.  Responsibilities include advising partners on the best-practice use of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online, performing data integration activities at enterprise and other customers, providing knowledge transfer through post-sales environments, and technical consulting.

The ideal candidate will have rock solid Scribe skills, and be able to effectively communicate about Scribe's products with both technical and business audiences. The candidate should be very familiar with large packaged CRM applications (such as Dynamics CRM, Siebel, SAP CRM, Oracle CRM, SalesForce.com, SalesLogix, or Pivotal) and ERP applications (such as Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, SAP) and must project energy and enthusiasm for Scribe's products.

This role is a pivotal function within the Scribe Enterprise community and will receive a base salary and variable compensation dependent on overall utilization.

Responsibilities

  • Establish maximum efficiency in new Enterprise implementations of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online.
  • Work with Sales to quickly drive business value for Enterprise customers.
  • Work directly with partners and customers to answer their questions about Scribe's products and to recommend integration design and be responsible for scoping and implementing Scribe products.
  • Implement paid proof of concept solutions as directed by the Scribe Sales team.
  • Project activities including project scoping, cost estimating, communicating and presenting to project stakeholders, integration implementation and follow up.
  • Own the technical relationship with the engaged customer or partner during implementation.
  • Escalate as appropriate to Scribe Support and Engineering as an advocate of the partner or customer.
  • Travel typically averages around 30% throughout the year but more may be required.

Skills & Experience
Candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Experience with data integration (Scribe Insight) and/or migration between business applications is required.
  • Self-starter & team player.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as experience preparing initial budgetary estimates.
  • Experience writing clear and concise Business Requirements Documentation.
  • Experience representing & demonstrating technical software products in a sales and post-sales process.
  • Significant experience with sales management, marketing, and/or customer service processes.
  • Training, consulting or technical support experience with mid-market CRM, Marketing or ERP applications, integration applications or toolkits a plus – preferably Scribe, Pervasive, Informatica or Cast Iron.
  • Strong relational database skills with the leading databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with XML, message queues, and Web Services are a plus.
  • Problem solving skills.
  • Strong computer skills with applications for Microsoft Windows.

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college / university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field plus ten (10) or more years professional experience.

Technical Support Engineer, 1st Level

Position Type: Full-time

Position Description

Technical Support Analyst Level I reports to the Services Director. The responsibilities for the position combine software technical support and systems analysis, training, and consulting focused on helping Scribe's customers and resellers be more successful using its products. The position requires a well-rounded graduate with significant experience with computers and has customer facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.  This full time position is located at Scribe's corporate headquarters in Manchester, NH.

  • Resolve 1st level technical support cases and per incident paid support cases thorough analysis and systematic procedures to Scribe's Resellers and End-users.
  • Escalate to and work with Scribe 2nd Level Support Engineers on challenging issues.
  • Contributing to the development of technical resources such as knowledge base articles and technical documentation.
  • Clearly documenting problem descriptions, defects, and resolutions in the technical support system.

Required Skills

  • Basic experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data conversion/integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, CRM, NAV or AX or other CRM and ERP applications such as Salesforce.com, Saleslogix, or SAP is a plus.
  • DBA background is highly desired.
