Position Description

The Business Development Director (BDD) reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for driving the growth of Scribe's fast growing iPaaS platform that is uniquely designed for ISV and SI partners to power integration solution offerings for their customers. The BDD will be based in the Silicon Valley and will direct Scribe's overall operations in this key market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit targeted ISV and SI partners to build and promote Solutions and Connectors on the Scribe Online Integration platform.
  • Direct the ongoing relationship with these platform partners with an emphasis on bringing products to market and driving customer traction.
  • Develop partnership plans with platform partners and work with the partner to deliver on these plans.

Qualifications:

Customer Success Engineer

Position Description

The Customer Success Engineer reports to the VP, Customer Success and plays the critical role in fostering the adoption of Scribe Online by its customers. The three main responsibilities for the Customer Success Engineer are to convert trial users to paying customers, to get new customers using the product, and to improve customer retention. The position requires a well-rounded professional with experience in the software industry and with customer-facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Trial Conversions - Improve the conversion rate of trial users to paying customers by helping trial users through the onboarding process to the point of processing data and getting value from Scribe Online.
  • Onboarding Customers - Assist new customers as they come onboard with Scribe Online so that they are processing data and getting value from the product within the first 30 days of beginning their first project.
  • Customer Renewals - Stay in contact with customers throughout the term of their subscription to maximize the value they get from Scribe Online. Identify for customers new ways that they can use Scribe Online by understanding their business systems and business strategy. Make it easy for the customers to decide to renew their subscription.
  • Be able to demonstrate Scribe Online and do light training.
  • Monitor areas of usage, non-usage, and errors and proactively communicate with customer to ensure customer success and renewal.
  • Solicit feedback, perform customer surveys, and document customer use cases in Scribe’s CRM system.
  • Communicate the issues that are hampering a customer’s success to Scribe teams including technical operations, technical support, engineering, sales, and product management. Advocate for the issues to be resolved and coordinate communication with the customer about the issues.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the company's website and continuously improve its performance. Identify and implement content, graphical, and structural changes that will improve search engine optimization (SEO) results, ease of use, and conversion rates.
  • Manage and continuously improve the performance of the company's other web properties including the community sites, partner sites, blogs, and support sites.
  • Manage the company's social media properties including LinkedIn profiles, LinkedIn groups, twitter, Facebook, Google+, and others. Keep the content up to date and continuously improve the performance of those sites so the number of participants and the level of interaction increases.

Enterprise Solution Engineer

Position Description

The Enterprise Solution Engineer is a hands-on position reporting to the VP, Customer Success. The two primary objectives of this position are 1.) to provide expert technical guidance to partners and customers in the use of and implementation of Scribe’s data integration products and 2.) to develop content and resources that communicate best practices and integration patterns for Scribe’s data integration products. Responsibilities include advising partners on the best-practice use of Scribe’s data integration products, leading integration architecture design sessions, completing paid proof of concept integration projects, completing integration design review and performance review for customers, and providing knowledge transfer in post-sales situations.

The ideal candidate will have rock solid Scribe skills, and be able to effectively communicate about Scribe's products with both technical and business audiences. The candidate should be very familiar with large packaged CRM applications (such as Dynamics CRM, Siebel, SAP CRM, Oracle CRM, SalesForce.com) and ERP applications (such as Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, SAP) and must project energy and enthusiasm for Scribe's products.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Scribe’s Enterprise Sales team to quickly drive business value for our large customers.
  • Work directly with partners and customers to answer their questions about Scribe's products and to recommend and to document integration architecture design.

Partner Marketing Manager

Position Description

The Partner Marketing Manager is a key player on Scribe Software’s global marketing team and will play a prominent role in expanding the roster of Scribe’s SaaS partners and driving the success of the company’s SaaS and systems integrator partners. The Partner Marketing Manager will use a wide array of marketing skills to develop and execute successful demand generation programs and develop high-impact content to help our partners successfully use Scribe’s integration software. The ongoing development of our partner channels is considered a critical component of the company’s growth strategy, so this role will be highly visible and will have a significant impact on the success of the company.

Responsibilities

  • SaaS Provider/ISV Demand Generation – plan and execute quarterly demand generation and nurturing programs to attract new SaaS provider partners and ensure that the company’s SaaS partner recruitment team has a steady flow of marketing qualified leads.
  • Partner Enablement – Develop a partner enablement program to encourage the ongoing use of Scribe software. Content will include a product demonstrations, educational resources, “how to” or thought leadership webinars, and written or video materials for our partner portal and web site to assist partners in adopting and expanding their use of Scribe software.
  • Partner Communication – Plan and manage communications with existing partners, including the development of our partner newsletter and partner-related communication on LinkedIn, twitter, and other social media forums.
  • Partner Program Management – Manage the marketing components of partner related programs, including Scribe’s Partner Program and MVP Program.
  • Co-marketing – Manage partner co-op or co-marketing funds and encourage use of those funds.

The Pre-Sales Engineer Team Lead is a "player-coach" position reporting to the Vice President, Sales. The primary objective of this position is to provide expert technical pre-sales support for Scribe's US East and US West Region sales team, Scribe's partners, and Scribe's customers, as well as provide leadership to the pre-sales team members in the US and EMEA regions. Responsibilities include providing knowledge transfer through pre-sales technical support, the development of technical sales materials – including blogposts, podcasts, battle cards, and elevating the level of the pre-sales team and the value provided to the sales organization.

The ideal candidate should have the combined technical, presentation, and sales skills to effectively communicate Scribe's products with both technical and business audiences, while projecting energy and enthusiasm for Scribe's products. Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role are:

Solution Engineer

Position Type: Full time

Position Description

The Solution Engineer reports to the VP, Customer Success. The two primary objectives of this position are:  

  • To provide expert assistance to Scribe’s partners and customers in the use of Scribe’s integration products
  • To develop content and resources that communicate best practices and integration patterns for using Scribe’s integration products.

The role will include paid consulting activities as well as escalated support case management functions.

Responsibilities

  • Assist partners and customers with integration project tasks including:  definition of requirements, project scoping, and integration architecture design.
  • Implement paid proof of concept solutions sold by the Scribe Sales team.
  • Complete evaluations of implementations of Scribe’s products at customer sites. Recommend, document, and guide improvements to integration design to optimize performance and data throughput.
  • Escalate as appropriate to Scribe Support and Engineering as an advocate of the partner or customer.
  • Communicate patterns and practices by creating technical papers, blog posts, and videos.
  • Deliver technical training in a classroom setting from time to time.
  • Maintain technical knowledge of all supported Scribe products through internal training and hands on experience.
  • Document all client-related issues in an easy to understand narrative format in a computerized tracking system.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor in the office and when interacting with clients.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Travel may average 20% throughout the year but more may be required as dictated by the business.

Skills & Experience:

  • Familiarity with packaged CRM applications, such as Dynamics CRM or, Salesforce.com, and ERP applications, such as Dynamics GP or, Dynamics NAV.
