Account Executive

Position Type: Full time
Salary: Compensation will be commensurate with experience and will consist of a base salary and variable compensation.

Description
This direct selling role is an inside sales position reporting to the Director of Sales. The Account Executive will be responsible for generating new, upgrade, and add-on business into prospects and existing customers in a given sales territory. The general responsibilities include prospecting, call planning, execution, opportunity management and closing of sales opportunities against a given quota. These responsibilities include requirements gathering, needs analysis, solution proposal and demonstration—the overall management of the sales cycle. The position requires that you thrive in a busy atmosphere, prioritize your work, and be willing to spend the majority of your workday doing phone contact work.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • This position requires the majority of time to be spent on the phone soliciting end user prospects and customers to sell Scribe Integration platforms to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
  • Calling into Scribe Online and Scribe Insight ‘free trial’ users to convert them to contracted customers to achieve annual sales revenue quota.
  • Working with new and existing Salesforce partners to grow pipeline and assist with sales opportunities.
  • Understand the pricing, product structure, and value benefits of the Scribe software products and be able to effectively present these to prospects and customers.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate Scribe Online Data Replication and Integration Services capabilities.
  • Provide a weekly forecast of sales opportunities and meet weekly with Sales Management to review pipeline.
  • Daily interface with Sales Management, Marketing and Pre-Sales resources as you execute to plan.
  • Ability to use the Scribe CRM system (Salesforce) for daily management of opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks, achieving goals with minimal supervision and guidance— self-starter, motivated individual contributor.

Required Skills

  • The ideal candidate will possess the business acumen required to understand and discuss the value proposition of customer data integration as well as the technical acumen required to understand and present the Scribe Online Platform.
  • Aggressive, self-starter, ability to work independently; have a ‘hunter’ and ‘closer’ mentality
  • Ability to engage with and negotiate with all levels of organization (C-Level, Director Level, Mgt. Level, User level)

Engineering IT Administrator

The Engineering IT Administrator will be responsible for building and maintaining the systems infrastructure used in the development and testing of Scribe's products which are built on Microsoft's .Net platform and utilizing agile development processes & methods. This position will work closely with Scribe's software engineers as well as the Operations team to set up and maintain our engineering environment. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, innovative, and self-motivated individual who is eager to develop new skills while evolving existing strengths. This is a junior-to-middle level position reporting to the manager of the SQA Team.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and maintain engineering test environments and sandboxes.
  • Support engineering build and test infrastructure which includes, but not limited to, Hyper-V and VM environments, build servers, automation servers, various application and database servers, etc.
  • Oversee engineering hardware inventory and assist in the purchasing process of these assets.
  • Monitor and maintain OS and application updates, software license usage, etc.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks such as assisting in product testing, release engineering, etc.

Position Requirements
Candidate must possess the following skills:

  • Experience in IT infrastructures, including but not limited to networking, database administration, Windows operating system administration, virtual systems, application installations, etc.
  • Proficient diagnostic and troubleshooting skills, particularly in IT technologies.

Enterprise Consultant

Position Type: Full time

Description
The Enterprise Consultant is a hands-on position reporting to the Director of Services. The primary objective of this position is to provide expert guidance to the Enterprise Sales team, partners, and customers in the use of and implementation of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online.  Responsibilities include advising partners on the best-practice use of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online, performing data integration activities at enterprise and other customers, providing knowledge transfer through post-sales environments, and technical consulting.

The ideal candidate will have rock solid Scribe skills, and be able to effectively communicate about Scribe's products with both technical and business audiences. The candidate should be very familiar with large packaged CRM applications (such as Dynamics CRM, Siebel, SAP CRM, Oracle CRM, SalesForce.com, SalesLogix, or Pivotal) and ERP applications (such as Dynamics AX, Oracle Financials, PeopleSoft, JD Edwards, SAP) and must project energy and enthusiasm for Scribe's products.

This role is a pivotal function within the Scribe Enterprise community and will receive a base salary and variable compensation dependent on overall utilization.

Responsibilities
Key responsibilities for this role are:

  • Establish maximum efficiency in new Enterprise implementations of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online.
  • Work with Sales to quickly drive business value for Enterprise customers.
  • Work directly with partners and customers to answer their questions about Scribe's products and to recommend integration design and be responsible for scoping and implementing Scribe products.
  • Implement paid proof of concept solutions as directed by the Scribe Sales team.
  • Project activities including project scoping, cost estimating, communicating and presenting to project stakeholders, integration implementation and follow up.
  • Own the technical relationship with the engaged customer or partner during implementation.
  • Escalate as appropriate to Scribe Support and Engineering as an advocate of the partner or customer.
  • Travel typically averages around 30% throughout the year but more may be required.

Skills & Experience
Candidates must possess the following skills:

  • Experience with data integration (Scribe Insight) and/or migration between business applications is required.
  • Self-starter & team player.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills as well as experience preparing initial budgetary estimates.
  • Experience writing clear and concise Business Requirements Documentation.
  • Experience representing & demonstrating technical software products in a sales and post-sales process.
  • Significant experience with sales management, marketing, and/or customer service processes.
  • Training, consulting or technical support experience with mid-market CRM, Marketing or ERP applications, integration applications or toolkits a plus – preferably Scribe, Pervasive, Informatica or Cast Iron.
  • Strong relational database skills with the leading databases including Oracle and SQL Server.
  • Experience with XML, message queues, and Web Services are a plus.

Educational Requirements

Level 3 Support Engineer

Position Type: Entry-level, Full time
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Description
The Level 3 (L3) Support Engineer reports to the Development Manager and is responsible for resolving customer issues escalated from our support department to our development team. This position requires frequent contact with customers via telephone and online sessions to diagnose customer issues. Strong troubleshooting skills are a must, as well as the ability to debug software at the code level in a number of languages and environments. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, process-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communications skills. This is an entry level development position ideal for hungry engineers looking for an opportunity to build their skillset and move on to other areas of software development within the company.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the support and development teams to diagnose, debug and resolve escalated customer issues.
  • Create and deliver software hotfixes when appropriate.
  • Submit defects we discover in 3rd party products to their development teams and track them to their resolution.
  • Respond to customer issues submitted to Scribe's product forums.

Regional Sales Manager, Western U.S.

Position Type: Full time

Description
The Scribe Regional Sales Manager position reports directly to the Vice President of Sales and is responsible for developing and managing, in concert with a select group of Scribe resellers, partner focused business building activities and generating, through direct and channel sales in the assigned region, an annual net revenue quota for Scribe premise and cloud based data integration products and services. The Regional Sales Manager is also responsible for developing a long term strategic relationship with the top tier Scribe resellers and systems integrators in the region.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Create and implement a tactical engagement plan for your assigned geography focused on the following objectives:

  • Continual management and up-leveling of reseller capabilities for selling the Scribe Software suite of premise and cloud based products and services, including:
    • Ownership, management, forecasting, and closing of direct and partners-driven opportunities in your assigned geography.
    • Securing buy-in from the executive teams of the partners in your assigned geography on promoting adoption of Scribe Cloud, SMB and Enterprise business throughout the organization.
  • Foster organizational adoption of Scribe Online throughout end user customers and reselling partners in your assigned region.

In addition to the above, the following responsibilities are expected of you:

  • Ability to present Scribe company overview and value proposition of Scribe products.
  • Provide business planning and partner/prospect/customer support to Scribe Resellers in your geography assignment and provide field assistance when required in qualifying and closing opportunities.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with partner principals and vendor ‘stakeholders’ (Microsoft, Sage, Salesforce.com) in assigned geography – vendor stakeholders include Technical Consultants, District, Regional, and Area Sales Management.
