Business Development Director

Position Description

The Business Development Director (BDD) reports directly to the Executive Vice President of Business Development and is responsible for driving the growth of Scribe's fast growing iPaaS platform that is uniquely designed for ISV and SI partners to power integration solution offerings for their customers. The BDD will be based in the Silicon Valley and will direct Scribe's overall operations in this key market.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Recruit targeted ISV and SI partners to build and promote Solutions and Connectors on the Scribe Online Integration platform.
  • Direct the ongoing relationship with these platform partners with an emphasis on bringing products to market and driving customer traction.
  • Develop partnership plans with platform partners and work with the partner to deliver on these plans.
  • Work closely with the Platform enablement team to drive the technical and go to market activities with the partner necessary to achieving the product sell-through goals of the partnership.
  • Direct the day-to-day operations of Scribe's office in Silicon Valley.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven (7) years' experience forming highly successful business partnerships in the software industry. It is highly desirable that the candidate has experience and relationships in the Cloud computing space. Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated experience and success targeting strategically desirable companies and forming meaningful business partnerships with them.
  • Demonstrated experience and success building and growing successful strategic partnerships.
  • Extensive personal relationships in the CRM, Marketing Automation, ERP, and Cloud computing technology industry within Silicon Valley.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Extensive experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Adaptability to a fast paced environment and able to quickly understand facts and assumptions and recommend and implement future courses of action.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong ability to operate with minimal guidance/direction.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and influencing skills.
  • Strong team player.
  • BS required, MBA is a plus.

C# Adapter Engineer

Position Type: Full time

Position Description

The Adapter Engineer reports to the Development Manager and is responsible for the continuing design, development and maintenance of Scribe’s products. Scribe’s products are built on Microsoft’s .Net platform utilizing agile development processes and methods. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, process-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively with the development team to design and build world class products
  • Design, code, unit test and maintain Scribe’s products using Visual Studio and C#
  • Work with QA to develop and maintain test plans and enhance the testability
  • Work with Technical Communications to develop product documentation
  • Research new technologies that impact Scribe’s products or application space
  • Maintain a current knowledge of industry tools, trends and technology
  • Be a key contributor to all efforts of the development team

Required Skills:
Candidates must possess the following skills:

  • Strong component development and debugging skills in the Windows / .NET environment using C#
  • Experience with unit testing using tools such as MSTest, NUnit or MBUnit

Desired Skills:
Outstanding candidates will also possess one or more of the following skills:

  • Experience with agile development processes
  • Data migration and/or integration experience

Channel Sales Manager

Position Type: Full time

Position Description

We are looking for candidates who love to code, are passionate about technology and are looking to be key players on the team that is continuing to develop our platform. Our engineering team works exclusively in Manchester, NH.

The Scribe Channel Sales Manager position reports to the East Region Director of Sales and is responsible for developing and managing, in concert with a select group of Scribe resellers, partner focused training and business building activities; and generating, through channel sales in the assigned region, an annual net revenue quota for Scribe premise and cloud based data integration products and services. The Channel Sales Manager is also responsible for developing a long term strategic relationship with the top tier Scribe resellers and systems integrators in the region.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Create and implement a tactical engagement plan forf your assigned geography focused on the following objectives:

  1. Continual management and up-leveling of reseller capabilities for selling the Scribe Software suite of premise and cloud based products and services, including:
    1. Ownership, training, management, forecasting, and assisting with closing (when required) of reseller-driven opportunities in your assigned geography.
    2. Securing buy-in from the executive teams of the resellers in your assigned geography on promoting adoption of Scribe Cloud, SMB and Enterprise business throughout the organization.
  2. Foster organizational adoption of Scribe Online throughout reselling partners in your assigned region.
  3. Recruitment, onboarding, and management of targeted new market resellers in your region.

In addition to the above, the following responsibilities are expected of you:

  1. Ability to present Scribe company overview and value proposition of Scribe products.
  2. Provide business planning and partner/prospect/customer support to Scribe Resellers in your geography assignment and provide field assistance when required in qualifying and closing opportunities.
  3. Nurture and maintain strong relationships with partner principals and vendor ‘stakeholders’ (Microsoft, Sage, Salesforce.com) in assigned geography – vendor stakeholders include Technical Consultants, District, Regional, and Area Sales Management.
  4. Meet weekly with Sales Management.
  5. Provide field based assistance to Scribe Account Executives and Enterprise Sales Manager in your assigned region as required.
  6. Use of Scribe CRM system.
  7. Travel (approx. 50%) within region to vendor, reseller, and/or customer events (as required).

Required Skills:

  1. Self starter, ability to work independently, excellent presentation skills
  2. Channel relationship management experience a must, preferably in the Microsoft Dynamics partner ecosystem
  3. Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  4. 3 to 5 years channel management experience, preferably with a data integration software or services provider, minimum with a software company
  5. Ability to excel in a ‘team’ environment
  6. Ability to engage with peers and field sales management in the software sales industry
