Scribe’s products are sold by over 600 resellers worldwide in a number of application markets including Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Dynamics GP, SalesLogix, and salesforce.com. Over the past two years, Scribe has grown over 100% per year organically in its core markets and is profitable.

The following positions are available:




Position Title: Technical Support Analyst 
Position Type: Full time, Exempt
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Description:
Technical Support Analyst Level III reports to the Services Director. The responsibilities for the position combine software technical support and systems analysis, training, and consulting focused on helping Scribe's customers and resellers be more successful using its products. The position requires a well rounded professional with experience in the software industry and customer facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Resolve 2nd and 3rd level technical support cases and per incident paid support cases thorough analysis and systematic procedures to Scribe’s Resellers and End-users
  • Contributing to the development of technical resources such as knowledge base articles and technical documentation
  • Design, develop or duplicate customer’s data migration/integration solutions
  • Clearly documenting problem descriptions, defects, and resolutions in the technical support system
  • Provide remote consulting services
  • Develop end-user prototype solutions
  • Delivering training to partners and customers, primarily by the Web
  • Maintaining relationships with OEM partner help desks including training and escalation process
  • Some travel could be required to deliver on site training and consulting

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data conversion/integration.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, CRM, NAV or AX or other CRM-based applications such as Salesforce.com and/or Saleslogix is highly desired.
  • DBA background is highly desired.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
  • Well developed organizational skills, a detail orientation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with Windows administration and networking.
  • Prior training and consulting experience.
  • Desire to learn new things.

Education:

  • BA/BS Degree in computer related course of study
  • Computer and software certifications are a plus

Position Title: White Box QA Engineer 
Position Type: Full time
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Do you want to get in on the ground floor of building a next-generation product? Do you enjoy working in an agile development environment? This job is for you.

Scribe is starting work on a new product line. We are looking for a candidate with strong QA skills who is capable of designing and performing tests at the code or component level in a .NET environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about technology and will be interested in working with the latest .NET technologies from Microsoft - Windows Communication Framework (WCF), LINQ for SQL, Silverlight and more.

Description:
The White Box QA Engineer reports to the Vice President of Products and is responsible for the quality assurance testing of Scribe’s products. Scribe’s products are built on Microsoft’s .Net platform utilizing agile development processes and methods. This position will work closely with Scribe’s software engineers to validate new features and functions and verify the production readiness of the product.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain test plans
  • Create and execute test scripts
  • Develop test harnesses in C# to test low level components
  • Work closely with software engineers to develop and implement automated testing tools
  • Execute system, integration, regression, stress, scalability, and performance tests
  • Track and report metrics of product quality
  • Manage QA lab resources
  • Work with software engineers to enhance the testability of the product

Required Skills:

  • Ability to design and performing tests at the code or component level in a .NET environment
  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Self-directed and process-oriented
  • Experience with SQL
  • QA tools and automation is a plus

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • At least two years experience in a .NET environment working as a white box tester or a mix of development and test experience
  • Migration and/or integration experience is a plus
  • Agile development is a plus
