Position Title: Technical Support Analyst
Position Type: Full time, Exempt

Description:
Technical Support Analyst Level III reports to the Services Director. The responsibilities for the position combine software technical support and systems analysis, training, and consulting focused on helping Scribe's customers and resellers be more successful using its products. The position requires a well rounded professional with experience in the software industry and customer facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Resolve 2nd and 3rd level technical support cases and per incident paid support cases thorough analysis and systematic procedures to Scribe’s Resellers and End-users
- Contributing to the development of technical resources such as knowledge base articles and technical documentation
- Design, develop or duplicate customer’s data migration/integration solutions
- Clearly documenting problem descriptions, defects, and resolutions in the technical support system
- Provide remote consulting services
- Develop end-user prototype solutions
- Delivering training to partners and customers, primarily by the Web
- Maintaining relationships with OEM partner help desks including training and escalation process
- Some travel could be required to deliver on site training and consulting

Required Skills:
- Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data conversion/integration.
- Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, CRM, NAV or AX or other CRM-based applications such as Salesforce.com and/or Saleslogix is highly desired.
- DBA background is highly desired.
- Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
- Well developed organizational skills, a detail orientation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Experience with Windows administration and networking.
- Prior training and consulting experience.

Education:
- BA/BS Degree in computer related course of study

Position Title: Silverlight Engineer
Position Type: Full time

The Silverlight Engineer reports to the Development Manager and is responsible for the continuing design, development and maintenance of Scribe’s products. Scribe’s products are built on Microsoft’s .Net platform utilizing agile development processes and methods. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, process-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communications skills.

- Work collaboratively with the development team to design and build world class products
- Design, code, unit test and maintain Scribe’s products using Visual Studio and C#
- Work with QA to develop and maintain test plans and enhance the testability
- Work with Technical Communications to develop product documentation
- Research new technologies that impact Scribe’s products or application space
- Maintain a current knowledge of industry tools, trends and technology
- Be a key contributor to all efforts of the development team
Required Skills:
- Strong Silverlight design and development skills required, experience with Silverlight 4 a plus
- Familiarity with the MVVM design pattern required, experience with the Caliburn framework a plus
- Experience with unit testing using tools such as MSTest, NUnit or MBUnit a plus
- Experience with agile development processes a plus
- Experience with WCF RIA Services a plus
- Experience with LINQ a plus

Education:

Position Title: SQA Automation Engineer
Position Type: Full time
Salary: Commensurate with experience
Description:
The SQA Automation Engineer is responsible for maintaining the test automation infrastructure for Scribe’s products (which are built on Microsoft’s .Net platform utilizing agile development processes and methods). This position will work closely with Scribe’s software engineers and SQA engineers to design & develop, maintain and execute test suites using automation tools and harnesses. He/she will also assist in manual testing of the products as needed per release project. The ideal candidate will be an analytical, technical, innovative, and self-motivated individual who is eager to develop new skills while evolving existing strengths. This is a mid-to-senior level position reporting to the manager of the SQA Team.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Help define and establish the automation infrastructure for testing Scribe products
- Develop and maintain test plans and scripts for automating functional, performance, and other tests against Scribe products
- Assist in execution of both automated and manual test scripts defined for each product release milestone
- Track and report quality metrics for every release project
- Assist in managing QA environment and test beds
- Work with the engineering team to enhance the testability of the product
- Assist in streamlining overall software quality process and procedures
Requirements:
- Computer Science degree or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years working in a software development environment
- At least 1-2 years experience in test automation using off-the-shelf products, in-house automation tools, and/or other scripting/programming languages
- Wide-range of automation project experience (e.g., client/server, web-based, performance/stress, scalability, etc.) using a variety of toolsets
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycles (agile methodologies a plus) and configuration management
- Knowledge of Microsoft .NET technologies (WCF, Silverlight, LINQ for SQL, etc.), SQL, and XML
- Working knowledge of web services and web/cloud-based technologies
- Knowledge and/or experience working with CRM and/or ERP systems or data migration/integration a plus
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
- Self-directed and process-oriented
