Technical Writer

Position Type: Full time

Description:

The Technical Writer reports to the Vice President of Technical Resources. The person in this position acts as in individual contributor and as a project manager on technical writing projects. Writing projects include online help, user guides, and installation guides for Scribe’s application integration products and for solutions built on Scribe’s technology platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop new and improve existing online help, user guides, and reference manuals for Scribe’s products and packaged solutions
  • Work closely with Scribe’s subject matter experts to develop documentation
  • Participate in peer editing of documentation projects
  • Create content by synthesizing information coming from multiple sources
  • Organize and manage documentation in Scribe’s source control system
  • Work with engineering on user interface design and review

Skills and Experience:

  • Strong written and oral communications skills
  • 5 or more years of experience with technical writing development and management
  • Ability to work in a collaborative environment
  • Ability to manage projects effectively with minimal supervision 
  • Experience with help authoring tools
  • Experience in training and tutorial development is a plus
  • Project management experience is a plus
  • Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus

Software Skills:

Technical Support Engineer – Level II

Position Type: Full time, Exempt
Salary: Commensurate with experience

Description:

Join the Scribe Technical Support team working out of our our Netherlands office amongst the close knit EMEA team.  This position is a techical support role supporting Scribe's integration products.  The responsibilities for the position combine software technical support, systems analysis, and consulting focused on helping Scribe's customers and resellers be more successful. The position requires a well-rounded professional with experience in the software industry who is fluent in English and has customer facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.  Technical Support Analyst Level II reports to the Services Director.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Resolve 1st and 2nd level technical support cases and per incident paid support cases through analysis and systematic procedures to Scribe’s Resellers and End-users
  • Escalate to and work with Scribe Product Development on challenging issues
  • Contributing to the development of technical resources such as knowledge base articles and technical documentation
  • Designing, developing or duplicating customer’s data migration/integration solutions
  • Clearly documenting problem descriptions, defects, and resolutions in the technical support system
  • Maintaining relationships with OEM partner help desks including training and escalation process

Required Skills:

  • Extensive experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data conversion/integration
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP, CRM, NAV or AX or other CRM and ERP applications such as Salesforce.com, Saleslogix, or SAP is highly desired
  • DBA background is highly desired
  • Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak, write, and communicate in English
  • Well-developed organizational skills, a detail orientation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential

Enterprise Sales Manager-US East Region

Position Type: Fulltime

Description:

The Enterprise Sales Manager – US East Region is a geographically based position that reports to the Director, Enterprise Sales and works closely with the Scribe sales team to achieve revenue quota attainment and to execute the company’s enterprise business plan in the US East Region, both direct and through our East Region reselling partners. This seasoned sales professional will be highly motivated and self-directed, with a strong background in large account, complex software sales cycle management in both direct and indirect models. The ideal candidate will have experience in the data integration space. Experience in the Financial Services Veritcal, Salesforce and/or Microsoft Dynamics CRM markets is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Meet or exceed Scribe Enterprise revenue quota for assigned US East Region
  • Manage all Scribe sales qualification and sales cycles for assigned region – in many cases jointly with Scribe partners
  • Work with Scribe Sales Management to develop goals and a strategic plan for the Enterprise sales operation in the US East Region.
  • Promote Scribe ‘internalization’ of Scribe value throughout the appropriate Field Sales Levels of the Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce sales organizations
  • Attend partner and end-user conferences and events with a focus on networking to aid in Scribe Enterprise sales revenue quota attainment.
  •  Work closely with Scribe Regional Business Managers, regional Account Executives, and Technical Pre-Sales resources to qualify and close direct/partner engaged sales opportunities through the appropriate sales channel.
  • Meet weekly with the Director, Enterprise Sales to review opportunity pipeline, sales strategies and tactics, and achievement against sales plan and quote attainment.
  • Travel (approx. 50%) in US East Region to vendor, strategic, end-user prospect and/or partner/customer events.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing complex major account sales cycles in the software industry. It is highly desirable that the candidate demonstrate consistent sales performance. The candidate will be based in the western US. Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Demonstrated consistent direct and indirect sales quota attainment in the software industry
  • Extensive experience in an entrepreneurial environment.
  • Adaptability to a fast paced environment and able to quickly understand facts and assumptions and recommend and implement future courses of action.
  • Self-motivated, self-starter with strong ability to operate with minimal guidance/direction.

Customer Account Manager - EMEA

Position Type: Fulltime
Location: The Hague, The Netherlands

Description:

The Customer Account Manager is an inside sales position reporting to the Director EMEA. Main purpose of this role is to ensure our existing customers renew their software subscriptions for the Scribe software solutions they are using. Keeping our customers is of eminent importance for Scribe and this position plays a pivotal part in that. Main activities for this position includes:

  • The management and closing of Software License Update Plan renewals for the Insight suite of Scribe Software Products through our partners
  • The management and closing of Scribe Online subscription renewals
  • Facilitation of on-going customer care outreach programs
  • Outbound selling of add-on products and services to existing customers
  • Discovering other sales opportunities and handing these over to the appropriate sales person

Responsibilities:

The position requires that you thrive in a busy atmosphere, prioritize your work, and be willing to spend the majority of your workday doing phone & email contact work. Key responsibilities are:

  • Communication with clients & partners by phone and e-mail
  • Gathering customer information
  • Investigating and contacting the appropriate contacts at the account & partner
  • Invoicing and closing sale of one, two or three year Software License Update renewals
  • Exceeding a minimum 85% quarter to quarter renewal rate on maintenance contracts
  • Forecasting monthly and quarterly results
  • Working with our partner network to get renewals initiated and closed
  • Daily interface with Sales Management, Scribe Partner Account Managers, Account Executives, Marketing and Finance
  • Use the Scribe CRM system as main tool for keeping track of activities & progress
  • Ability to achieve goals with minimal supervision and guidance – self-starter, motivated individual contributor.
  • Information gathering in existing Scribe accounts and resellers to successfully build a ‘reference’ database of Scribe product usage as well as customer market and industry data

Inside Sales Representative

Position Type:Fulltime

Description:

This entry-level selling role is an inside sales position reporting to the Director of Sales. A farming position, the Inside Sales Rep will lead outbound campaigns into targeted existing customers, for the singular purpose of cross selling Scribe Online (cloud based) integration services. The general responsibilities include call planning, execution, opportunity management and closing of Scribe Online sales. These responsibilities include communicating with clients by phone and e-mail, requirements gathering, needs analysis, solution proposal and demonstration – the overall management of the customer sales cycle. The position requires that you thrive in a busy atmosphere, prioritize your work, and be willing to spend the majority of your workday doing phone contact work.

Responsibilities:

Lead Scribe’s Additive Migration initiative:

  • Daily interface with Sales Management, Marketing and Pre-Sales resources as you execute to plan.
  • Ability to use the Scribe CRM system (Salesforce) for daily management of opportunities.
  • Ability to work independently on tasks, achieving goals with minimal supervision and guidance – self-starter, motivated individual contributor.
  • Calling into targeted existing Scribe customer accounts to understand their current environment, integration requirements and identify opportunities to propose and sell Scribe Online. In some cases this may be in addition to their Scribe Insight license, in other cases a customer may move from Scribe Insight to Scribe Online.
  • Ability to uncover cross-sell and up-sell opportunities where appropriate, and work in tandem with account executives to pass leads for these opportunities.
  • Understand the pricing, product structure, and value benefits of the Scribe software products and be able to effectively present these to prospects and customers.

Required Skills:

  • The ideal candidate will possess the business acumen required to understand and discuss the value proposition of customer data integration as well as the technical acumen required to understand and present the Scribe Online Platform.
  • Excellent personal, phone and presentation skills are required.

Partner Account Manager

Position Type: Fulltime

Description:

The Scribe Partner Account Manager position reports to the Director of Sales and is responsible for developing and managing named mid-tier Scribe reselling partners across all territories. The PAM will focus on business building activities and generating an annual net revenue quota for Scribe premise and cloud based data integration products and services.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Create and implement a tactical engagement plan for your assigned partners:
  • Develop mindshare with executive teams at assigned partners and focus on promoting adoption of Scribe Insight and Scribe Online business throughout the organization.
  • Work with the territory Account Executives as they build and manage opportunity pipeline associated with assigned partners.
  • Ability to present Scribe company overview and value proposition of Scribe products.
  • Provide business planning and partner/prospect/customer support to Scribe Resellers and provide assistance when required in qualifying and closing opportunities.
  • Nurture and maintain strong relationships with partner principals and vendor ‘stakeholders’.
  • Meet weekly with Sales Management.
  • Provide assistance to Scribe Account Executives supporting partners
  • Use of Scribe CRM system.
  • Travel (approx. 10%) to vendor, reseller, and/or customer events (as required).

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five (5) years’ experience managing complex major account sales cycles in the software industry. It is highly desirable that the candidate demonstrate consistent sales performance. The candidate will be based in the western US. Qualified candidates will possess the following:

  • Self starter, ability to work independently
  • Relationship management experience and excellent presentation skills a must
  • Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 + years selling experience, preferably with a data integration software or services provider, minimum with a software company
  • Ability to excel in a ‘team’ environment
  • Ability to engage with peers and sales management in the software sales industry
