The following positions are available:





Position Title: Product Manager

Position Type: Fulltime

Salary: Commensurate with experience

Position Description

The Product Manager reports to the Vice President of Products and is responsible for defining the product roadmap. This position will work closely with Scribe's product development team to create requirements and product specifications for new product features, functions and modules.

Responsibilities include:

  • Engage with customers, partners and various disciplines within Scribe (i.e., sales, pre-sales, marketing, support, professional services) to gather input and feedback on the Scribe products.
  • Track the market dynamics for the products to which we integrate, such as the Microsoft Dynamics applications and Salesforce.com, including competition, upcoming releases, and emerging trends, and relate that information to the Scribe product strategy and roadmap.
  • Facilitate multi-departmental discussions to define the roadmap for future product development, and coordinate cross-departmental deliverables as part of the rollout for new product releases.
  • Work closely with product marketing to evaluate new markets and provide input to product messaging.
  • Create product requirement documents, functional specifications and definitions of scope for new product features.
  • Track development project progress against defined goals.
  • Work closely with development engineers and quality assurance engineers to specify development tasks and acceptance criteria in the context of an agile development environment.
  • Facilitate and coordinate discussions with customer advisory board and partner advisory board members to gather product feedback.
  • Manage beta programs for new product releases.
  • Coordinate multi-departmental deliverables required for a new product release.
  • Work closely with technical writers to develop product release notes and other product documentation
  • Act as a product expert within the company, requiring deep product knowledge.
  • Participate in strategic discussions with key customers, partners and prospects.
  • Provide thought leadership for future product direction, both at a strategic level and at a granular feature/function level, driving continual product improvement.
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS in business, marketing, computer science or related field or equivalent related work experience, MBA preferred.
  • Three years experience with the Microsoft Dynamics product line.
  • Strong CRM domain knowledge.
  • Five years experience in software product management in a software company.
  • The ability to think strategically and act tactically.
  • Strong analytical capabilities with the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Detail oriented work habit.
  • Well developed understanding of product management practices.
  • Proven skills to drive results.
  • Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead in a team environment by persuading and proactively influencing strategic decision making and direction
  • Strong planning, organizational, leadership, and teamwork skills.
  • Some travel required.

Position Title: Technical Support Analyst - Level II

Reports to: Director of Services

Position Type: Full time, Exempt

Description:

Technical Support Analyst Level II reports to the Services Director. The responsibilities for the position combine software technical support and systems analysis, training, and consulting focused on helping Scribe's customers and resellers be more successful using its products. The position requires a well rounded professional with experience in the software industry and customer facing skills that can be applied to the broad areas of responsibility.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Resolve 2nd level technical support cases and per incident paid support cases thorough analysis and systematic procedures to Scribe’s Resellers and End-users
  2. Design, develop or duplicate customer’s data migration/integration solutions
  3. Clearly document problem descriptions, defects, and resolutions in the technical support
  4. On occasion, provide remote consulting services
  5. Deliver training to partners and customers, primarily delivered by the Web
  6. Maintain relationships with OEM partner help desks including training and escalation process
  7. Contribute to the development of technical resources such as knowledge base articles and technical documentation
  8. Contribute to the ongoing development of support management programs
  9. Carry pager for after-hours support
  10. Some travel could be required to deliver on site training and consulting
Experience Requirements:
  1. Two years relevant work experience.
  2. Strong oral and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to speak, write, and communicate in English.
  3. Well developed organizational skills, a detail orientation and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team are essential.
  4. Strong problem-solving skills and proficiency with various computer systems and applications including Microsoft Windows is essential.
  5. Strong computer skills in Microsoft Windows-based business applications.
  6. Experience with relational databases, SQL queries, and data conversion/integration.
  7. Experience with CRM-based applications such as Salesforce.com and/or Saleslogix.
  8. Experience with Windows NT administration.
  9. Prior training and consulting experience.
  10. Desire to learn new things.
Education:
  • BA/BS Degree in computer related course of study
  • Computer and software certifications are a plus

Position Title: Training Developer/Trainer

Reports to: Director of Services

Position Type: Full time, Exempt

Description:

The Technical Trainer reports to the Director of Services and is responsible for the delivery and creation of training for technical consultants in the CRM and ERP space. This position will work closely with Scribe's Support and Engineering teams to deliver and develop successful training online and in person. The successful candidate will be a self-directed, process-oriented individual with strong verbal and written communications skills.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Delivers technical training for a technical audience
  2. Serves as a subject matter expert (SME) on a variety of Scribe Products
  3. Provides appropriate feedback to develop participants' knowledge and skills.
  4. Works with e-learning designer to develop on-line and classroom training, including lesson plans, participant materials, tests and evaluation tools.
  5. Ensures program quality and company standards; updates materials as needed.
  6. Coordinates and schedules training sessions
  7. Assists the Technical Support team.
  8. Conducts post-training and support surveys.
Experience Requirements:
  1. MIS with relevant work experience.
  2. 2 years of experience delivering and developing training to highly technical audience.
  3. Knowledge of, and experience with, CRM and ERP systems and database integration/migration.
  4. Detail oriented with exceptional follow-up skills.
  5. Ability to multi-task and establish priorities in fast-paced software development environment.
  6. Strong interpersonal, communication and analytical skills.
  7. Experience with Adobe Breeze and Robohelp and other e-learning software.
Education:
  • BS Degree in either English, instructional design, or information systems.
  • Computer and software certifications are a plus.
